I have worked with many cameramen over the years and I have to say that Chris is a super person and a super cameraman.
The first time we worked together we interviewed more than 25 boxers in one night. They were all look lives, it was an extremely hectic pace as it was for a live to tape sporting event. The hours were long and he never complained once.
Our next shoot was in a smelly MMA training gym where there was no air conditioning. Since I was on camera, I immediately freaked out because I knew I would be sweating like a pig. Chris came to the rescue, insisting I sit in the car while he shot all the video!
He then set up all the lights for the interviews and my standup, so when I walked, in I would have to spend as little time in the gym.
He was covered in sweat, his cables were swimming in perspiration and he still did not want to even take a water break. This was a very important story and he is one of the few photogs, I would trust to shoot without me being there.
When we got into edit I was holding my breath, but everyone thing looked and sounded awesome. In the end the story went National even though I spent a good part of the night in the car and Chris wound up having to disinfect his expensive equipment!less
